Private Houses

We have undertaken numerous Private House projects since the practice was established in 2009. These range from newbuild houses to basements, ground floor extensions, loft conversions, whole house reconfigurations and refurbishments including interiors.

Each project has unique opportunities driven by local context, site arrangement, adjoining properties and the Client’s Brief. We work closely with Clients to develop a detailed brief by identifying design layouts. Our Designs focus on spatial quality, natural light and shading, material exploration and lifestyle requirements. We provide tailored solutions that work day to day but importantly consider family needs to ensure the homes we design have flexibility and that spaces need to adapt. In addition we advise on the best approaches to sustainability and energy efficiency during the briefing stages. This is as equally important to the long-term success of a project than the visual appearance.

Our excellent design approach produces beautifully considered dwellings which are inherently luxurious by their practical form, function and useability.

We are typically appointed from Concept to Completion. In some cases this can see a close working relationship with Clients for some years. We do offer various levels of service but would always stress the importance of our involvement on site to ensure details are delivered correctly by the chosen Contractor.
